Objectives -
1. Provide an overview of mitochondrial hepatopathy (mitochondrial gene disorder particularly MtDNA depletion syndromes POLG, MPV 17, DGUOK etc ) and fatty acid oxidation defects as indications for liver transplantation
2. When (or whether) to transplant, given systemic involvement and uncertain benefit
3. Explore the living related donor dilemma in genetically inherited disorders
4. Understand long-term outcomes — does transplantation halt progression or shift the disease course?
